THE WAR AGAINST YOUR VISION
TOBIAH IS NOT ALONE AGAINST YOUR VISION
But when Sanballat, Tobiah, the Arabs, the Ammonites and the people of Ashdod heard that the repairs to Jerusalem’s walls had gone ahead and that the gaps were being closed, they were very angry. They all plotted together to come and fight against Jerusalem and stir up trouble against it. ~ Neh 4:7-8
When word came to Sanballat, Tobiah, Geshem the Arab and the rest of our enemies that I had rebuilt the wall and not a gap was left in it—though up to that time I had not set the doors in the gates— Sanballat and Geshem sent me this message: “Come, let us meet together in one of the villages c on the plain of Ono.” But they were scheming to harm me; ~ Neh 6:1- 2
In this expose we see Sanballat, Tobiah, Geshem the Arab, the Amonites and the rest of the army conspiring against just one man with a vision to rebuild the wall. It was a coordinated plot. They were ready to cause havoc. Have you ever wondered why your case does not end, or why your vision is not coming to fruition? Spiritual warfare comes from an understanding on the kind and level of war you are fighting. Some wars are just ordinary and some are on another level.
Remember that in your case you are not fighting one demon or one personality. Your vision or dream is too big to be fought from one front or level. The moment you decide to fight Tobiah get ready for Sanballat or the Ammonites. The way you fight must not just be an ordinary one. The effort you must put must not be the ‘everyday’ status quo. Tobiah is not alone against your vision.
Sometimes we are defeated and cry in our warfare by not understanding the level and kind of war we are fighting. There are some wars we fight, which are very minor and do not require any effort. In many of the spiritual wars we fight, the spirit world has strong back up. Your case is not just one case. There are many spirits behind. The spirits know the principle of backup system which many Christians do not understand. They have a reserve army ready to pounce and devour on people. In fact they work in collaboration and conspiracy to knock you down. That is why that the spirits in that man had to says, ‘I am Legion because we are many’. Tobiah has a link with others. It’s another dimension. Tobiah is not alone against your vision.
Have you seen that, that poverty spirit is not alone? It has actually partnered with a prostitution spirit so that you are gone for good. That anti-marriage spirit has actually coordinated with sickness spirit such that you go away from marriage a diseased person. That spirit against your prosperity is actually in partnership with death spirit so that you perish in an accident. Today make a decision to take a census of what is against you. Devise a method to go against the evil partnership against you. It is going to be a do or die war. Know this that is another war, not the ordinary you used to know.
Affirmation
• My vision will come to pass.
• I will succeed in this war.
• Destiny is mine.

7 TYPES OF BAD SPOUSES
7 TYPES OF BAD SPOUSES
• The Yes Spouse: This spouse is quick to agree but slow to deliver. Every item is always YES. The Yes spouses leave a trail of unfulfilled commitments and broken promises. Yes spouses over-commit to please.
• The Maybe spouse: When faced with a crucial decision, the Maybe spouses are not predictable. You are not sure of them because to them it is ‘maybe I will’
• The Nothing spouse: You can’t know what’s going on because the Nothing spouse tells you nothing—no feedback, verbal or nonverbal. They are the reserved ones. If you ask them the answer is ‘nothing’
• The No spouse: This spouse is the negatively rigid ones. This one defends his or her cause by saying, ‘I’m not being negative, I’m being realistic.’ Even if there is an obvious yes, they are doleful and discouraging with their NO.
• The Grenade spouse: This spouse explodes in tantrums that seem disproportionate to the present circumstances, sending the other partner ducking for cover and wondering what it’s all about. These are too emotional and can explode any time.
• The Know-It-All spouse: This spouse knows everything about every subject. They are not ready to hear or listen from the other spouse about ideas or suggestion. They are related to The Think-They-Know-It-All. These once even if they don’t know that much, they don’t let that get in the way.
• The Bulldozer spouse: The spouse is pushy and ruthless, loud and forceful. If you are in their way, you will be eliminated.

ANGER MANAGEMENT
WHEN ANGRY, REMEMBER....
Ephesians 4:26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
Today I will share with you one of the issues which troubles many people and this is anger. From the above scripture, it seems anger is expected but the caution there is not to sin especially through making the day end with that anger. Why? It is because when you prolong habitation of anger in you, it becomes part of you. Many people have lost opportunities because of anger. At the end when you do an assessment of why you were angry, you will see it was just a small matter. When you are angry remember;
1. Anger is an emotion. It affects your emotional balance.
2. Anger is spiritual, evil, demonic. Anger is a spirit. To prove that check how you feel when angry.
3. Anger has serious self inflicting damages. Some become angry to fix some people when in fact they are fixing themselves. Its like shooting someone with the gun pointing towards yourself. Some are sick because of anger and unfortunately some are dead. Some are in prison because of anger and some in hospital.
4. Anger has a major effect in relationships. Conflicts in families, societies, workplaces, schools are not managed because of angry individuals. Some have divorced because of the problem of anger.
5. Anger should never override our decision making process. Never should it envelop our decision making process or our character. Never make a major decision when you are angry, you will regret. We must not change our character because of anger. Some have changed their language because of anger. Some have preached messages intertwined in anger.
6. Anger must not lead to violence tendencies we see everyday in the world. Reaction to life in anger is not the solution. Let us be proactive.
7. Anger management should not be the focus but rather personal management. When we are able to manage ourselves, anger management becomes easy.
8. Anger is so funny in that when you are angry you think everyone is also angry. Be it known that it may be you only who is angry and others are happy and life goes on. Don't think 'we are many'
9. Anger is bad in that some become angry on behalf of others. You will be left with the dirtness of others.
10. Anger is not a solution to anything but it's actually a problem which increase more problems. It is not the end of problems but beginning of them.
Self Help Questions
1. Is it possible not to be angry
2. Why are you angry today? Is it worthy it?
3. What are you angry at?
4. What actions do you do when angry?
5. What can you do to deal with yourself and anger?
Today choose joy instead of anger. Don't drown in anger. Future is not ready for angry people.

WHEN POWER OVERRIDES LEADERSHIP
WHEN POWER OVERRIDES LEADERSHIP
In organizations, leaders start very well. They have passion for their organization and in serving people they lead. People look up to them. They are celebrated as the hero-figure. However as time goes by many leaders no longer have that leadership steam they started with. This is the time when power overrides the leader in them.
In your leadership if the following now happens, power has overridden your leadership:
1. Your leadership no longer protects the powerless but protects the powerful.
2. Your leadership twists laws and policies to your advantage at the expense of the followers.
3. Your leadership abuses and misuses the system for self gratification and ignores the suffering of your followers.
4. Your leadership no longer has conscience and power is no longer used for the common good.
5. Your leadership power is no longer for achievement of organizational goals but full of fear, intimidation, threats and dictatorial and monster tendencies.
6. Your leadership hand no longer has a helping dimension but a hurting and haunting phenomenon.
7. Your leadership has turned from triumph to terror and tribulations.
8. Your leadership is no longer about the organization but it has become more of you and you only: there are tendencies of self-centeredness and self-promotion.
9. Your leadership no longer promotes other leaders but sees every potential leader as a threat.
10. Your leadership becomes the center of power, forgetting the Ultimate power of God.
Today check your leadership scale and evaluate yourself. Leadership goes beyond you. Leadership scales higher than you.
Power is a tool which should be rightfully managed by leadership. If it is given freelance it has potential to kill the follower, the leader and the organization.

How to benefit from your pastor’s home visitation by Pastor John Museredzo
• Do not take home visitation as burdensome.
• Do not take home visitation as infringement of privacy
• Never take home visitation as way of self enrichment by the pastor or as a way to collect things from you
• Do not try to lecture all the way while your pastor follows your speech
• If you have any prayer requests present to your pastor for intercession
• Do not try to take home visit as opportunity to teach your pastor
•Home visit is not an opportunity of gossip
• Home visit can be a good platform to sow a seed to your pastor without the pomp and glamour often associated with such when in a congregation. It is God who sees your gift
• Make sure you relate to your pastors anything you may want them to know about your life. Not every pastor is gifted to ‘prophesy’ about your life
. If you want you may agree on appointments or scheduled visits, so that the pastor will not disappointed by visiting when you are not around.
• Thank your pastor for sparing his or her time to visit you. It is their duty but appreciation is good.
