POWER TO DEFINE DESTINY

We are the masters of our own destinies or a desired future.

1. THE PURPOSES OF GOD FOR EVERY PERSON

· Your are an image of GOD (Gen 1:26-28)

· You have a future and destiny whose designer is GOD (Jer 29:11)

· You have a purpose which you have to follow.

· Regardless of gender, stature, race, disability/inability (Acts 10:34)

ü You are here not because of a hearing impairment but you are here to be equipped to define destiny and make history

2. SELF ESTEEM AND PERCEPTION [Ex 4:11 kjv, 1 Sam 30:6, Psalm 139:14]

· You are unique in your own right: You are not a second-class citizen

· You are not what others call you but what you call yourself from a God-kind point of view.

· You can be the greatest limitation to your own progress or you can be also the greatest door to your own destiny. Choose today

· Destiny is not in the physical appearance but in the mind.

3. LIMITATION TO SUCCESS

Four misconceptions about life

ü Physical Disposition Misconception: I am because of what I am [Moses says I stammer]

ü Historical Misconception: I am because of where I come from [Can anything good come from Nazareth]

ü Positional Misconception: I am because of where I am [Daniel succeeds in Babylon]

ü Blamatory Misconception: I am because of what they/life have/has done to me [Joseph forgives his brothers]

4. MENTALITY TO OVERCOME

· Change your perspective: You are what God has planned for you [greatness]. See yourself as God sees you. You are what you see yourself to be.

· Aim at creating a positive image of yourself. Do not look down upon yourself. You are a brand on your own. People receive you according to the way you carry yourself.

· Be confident of your success. You are not a failure

· Work hard to develop and improve yourself. Carry an excellent attitude and become what God has planned for your life. You attract success according to the level of effort you have put in developing yourself.

· Transform and renew your mind. A transformed mind is a platform and a powerhouse to transform the world. As a man thinks so is he.

· Shake off self inflicted limits: Refuse limits from now because you are unlimited. This is your opportunity God has purposed for you. NO MORE LIMITS

· Mind what you speak about yourself: You are what you say about yourself. Never speak negative about yourself. Speak well about yourself: The distance between you and your destiny is between your lips.
