Church authorities
To many people it is surprising
why it is necessary for one to pray for marriage in relation to church authorities.
The reason is that those in church authorities are also people and can miss
proper judgement and discernment as far as your marriage or relationship is
concerned. You need to ask God for His favour to prevail as you relate your
issues with church authorities.
The devil is very cunning to the
extent of using those in authorities to smear dirt on your relationships. Though
it is not always the case some youth grew bitterness in them because of how
their issues were handled by church authorities. Some feel they were unjustly
treated, though some will exaggerate the situation. There are some who actually
feel they were being victimized and others feel that were fixed for unknown
reason. Sometimes the authorities will be very innocent in what they will be
doing but prayer has got power to deal with this. I believe you appreciate the
reason why we need to pray for church authorities as far as marriage of our
youth is concerned. Prayer is very essential. We do not fight against flesh and
blood.
