ONLINE FACEBOOK LIVE CHURCH SESSIONS: PULL OFFS

10 Facebook Live Tips (With Successful Brand Examples)

ONLINE FACEBOOK LIVE CHURCH SESSIONS
PULL OFFS
When doing online services especially Facebook live services sometimes it is wise to pull off the live because of different reasons. A pull off is actually a delete or 'hide' of what has been recorded, captured or posted. Sometimes it is embarrassing to see prerecording testing moments live before the really message or live broadcast. Pull offs save you from embarrassment from people who will always ask you about your post or some can even share your wrongly recorded live broadcast. A live which is not well placed can cause unnecessary pressure on you on how to correct it because in most cases it cannot be edited. Once live, it's difficult retract what you have said except by pull off.
Why a pull off?
1. Network can go while recording and sometimes it is not well placed for people to just see your 3 minutes of the intended 30 minutes live session. The recording could also be affected by noisy environment.
2. The content posted may not have been well rehearsed and thought of and maybe of poor quality. The content could also be controversial and bent on heretic teaching.
3. The live could have been of a live testing session. For example it is not well placed to hear those testing saying, 'Are we live now?' while they are actually live. Sometimes the media team may forget to un-mute the microphone and the live goes without sound. You have to pull off the testing session. It is not necessary to be seen.
4. The camera could have been on wrong mode, tilted or shaking such that no-one will ever follow the live. This happened to me recently. The message was very clear and great but the angle poor. So I had to download the video and edit the angle and re-post it.
How to pull off
You go on the post to the right there dots there. You click on the dots and they give options and you can select two ways:
1. Hide the post from your timeline. This will be hidden from everyone who scrolls your post. This option is good in that you can unhide in the event that you may need it to appear later in edited form.
2. Delete post from timeline. This will delete the post, recording or session from your timeline. People will not see the post.
