How to benefit from your pastor’s home visitation by Pastor John Museredzo

• Do not take home visitation as burdensome.

• Do not take home visitation as infringement of privacy

• Never take home visitation as way of self enrichment by the pastor or as a way to collect things from you

• Do not try to lecture all the way while your pastor follows your speech

• If you have any prayer requests present to your pastor for intercession

• Do not try to take home visit as opportunity to teach your pastor

•Home visit is not an opportunity of gossip

• Home visit can be a good platform to sow a seed to your pastor without the pomp and glamour often associated with such when in a congregation. It is God who sees your gift

• Make sure you relate to your pastors anything you may want them to know about your life. Not every pastor is gifted to ‘prophesy’ about your life

. If you want you may agree on appointments or scheduled visits, so that the pastor will not disappointed by visiting when you are not around.

• Thank your pastor for sparing his or her time to visit you. It is their duty but appreciation is good.
